Chetwyn - The Derby Driving School can help you from start to finish, from your first advanced driving lesson all the way to passing your driving instructor exams.

To qualify as a driving instructor you are required to pass three tests.

Theory and hazard perception test
Advanced Driving Test
Teaching Test

Chetwyn instructor training is designed to support and tutor you through these three tests through a combination of theoretical and practical support and guidance including extensive training on the road.

How will Chetwyn teach me?

Through a course of 1 to 1 teaching only. Theory - Training for your theory test is supported by our free theory training package and tutorials. Driving Test - Parts 2/3 take place in a car on the road. Teacher Training - In part 3 we run you through a wide range of common driving training situations with your instructor taking the role of learner drivers - all of whom have differing levels of experience/ability.
